for Android. It is available on Google Play - free of charge, no ads. Enjoy!

3B9FR--- > "I finally  made contact  with Robert  a few days ago",  his  QSL
manager (M0OXO) reported on 25 February.  "Without going into detail,  he is
safe, well  and in  good  health.  He will however  be taking  a break  from
Amateur Radio  for the time being,  and isn't responding  to email messages.
Don't expect him back on air anytime soon, but never say never".  Robert has
not been active since May 2019. [TNX M0OXO]

3D2AG/P ---> Thanks to the help provided by Danny, ON4VT, who volunteered to
Convert  the handwritten logs into ADIF,  nearly 5700 QSOs  made by  3D2AG/p
from Rotuma between  21 December 2019 and  9 January 2020 have been uploaded
to Club Log.

IOTA HONOUR ROLL ---> The 2020 Honour Roll  and  Annual Listings  have  been
posted on the  IOTA  website https://iota-world.org/: click  on  PERFORMANCE
LISTINGS  in the  dropdown menu under  PROGRAMME INFORMATION.  They show the
position as at 31 January 2020.
The Honour Roll  lists  the  stations  with  a  checked  score  equalling or
exceeding 50% of the  total of  numbered  IOTA groups, excluding those  with
provisional  numbers, at the time  of preparation.  The Annual Listing lists
the stations with a checked score of 100 or more  IOTA groups but  less than
the qualifying threshold for entry into the Honour Roll.
IOTA rules limit inclusion  in the listings to  those participants  who have
updated  their scores  at least once in the preceding five years (i.e. since
February 2015) and have opted to have their scores published.

ONLINE LOGS: The logs for the recent operations of 4A2L from Isla del Carmen
(NA-135) and 6F3A from Isla Perez (NA-153) have been posted to
http://puebladx.org/spcall/spcall_log.php?spcall=4A2L and
http://puebladx.org/spcall/spcall_log.php?spcall=6F3A respectively.

T30ET POSTPONED ---> Alex, 5B4ALX has been informed that, owing to the coro-
na virus outbreak, he should undergo a 14-day quarantine in Honiara (Solomon
Islands) and to obtain a  medical clearance  before travelling to  Kiribati.
His operation from Tarawa, which was expected to take place from 18 March to
6 April [425DXN 1503], is therefore postponed, "indicatively to October". He
is also considering -  if "Singapore Airlines does not agree to reprotect me
in October, rather  than losing 5000 EUR of tickets  and baggage allowance -
an alternative destination that can be reached from Brisbane  without travel
restrictions, but I don't see many alternatives at the moment".

VP8PJ ---> The team  has been  on the air from  Signy,  South Orkney Islands
(AN-008) since  late 22 February,  and is working hard  to hand out  as many
QSOs as possible under very cold, windy and snowy weather conditions. Having
a consistent and stable connection with  the available satellites  has shown
to be a challenge.  The terrain on the island blocks the path  to the satel-
lite, and the team can only send the logs from the "Braveheart", as and when
they can.  So far the online log  includes  14067 QSOs made  from  23.56 UTC
on 22 February until 19.00 UTC on 25 February:
https://www.m0urx.com/oqrs/logsearch.php?dxcallsign=VP8PJ
As for FT8, "RR73, but not in log" is a known issue and a  "historic problem
for DXpeditions", the QSL manager (M0URX) says. "10% of all FT8 QSOs will be
dropped and cannot be entered into the log until after the DXpedition".  The
operators  are  aware of  this problem, so  "please  no email,  phone calls,
texts, WhatsApp", M0URX says. The "Not in Log?" form on his website  will be
enabled when the log is consolidated  at the end of the DXpedition.  "If you
are not  in the log, make a  security QSO  if you can,  or wait  until  this
function will be enabled".

W8S: NEW DATES ---> The  DXpedition  to  Swains  Island  has been  postponed
because of the  travel restrictions  imposed by the  Department of Health of
American Samoa as a result  of the  coronavirus outbreak [425DXN 1503].  The
team is now scheluded to be on the island from 23 September until 6 October.

Bouvet Island DXpedition update

The following was reported on the Rebel DX Group FaceBook page [edited]:

"Rebel team update. We are on track with 3Y0I Bouvet project. Still missing some budget but we are getting closer and closer. Second attempt will take place in December 2020.
"Before December, Rebels are moving to Pacific to activate Banaba Island (callsign secured T33T). This activity will start in first half of 2020.
After Banaba we will sail to T2 Tuvalu (working on callsign T22T). During April we will also be active from 2 IOTAs: OC-156 and OC-121 Stay tuned."

INDEXA News

Valerie Hotzfeld, NV9L, reports the following:
Clicking on the link below will permit you to download the Winter 2020 issue of the newsletter of the International DX Association:
http://indexa.org/documents/newsletters/Newsletter-Issue-128-Winter%202020.pdf

Valerie states [edited]: "Last issue I was begging for articles. This issue was the opposite. I had to table a couple of articles for the Spring issue.
We want to thank Robert Brandon, K5PI, for giving us a great article on their DXpedition to TX7T as well as Shabu Ramakrishnan, M0KRI, and their exciting 3 man operation in VU7RI.
I did have a half page to fill, so I thought I'd add some fun with a DX crossword puzzle. Cheesy or fun? Let me know."
