9N7AA ---> "We have now moved to the new residence  and a couple of vertical
dipoles were strung from a  Spiderbeam pole on the upper terrace  of our top
floor apartment",  Robert, 9N7AA  (S53R) posted  to his  qrz.com page  on 11
December.  "I mostly run on 17m  as  other bands sound  rather empty.  A new
antenna mast was manufactured locally and delivered today,  while the  Ultra
Beam/WIMO 2el Yagi  (40-6m) is still  at the customs.  If all stars align, I
will be able to install it  before the end of the year.  160/80 will have to
wait for a while, though. I have an idea how to install quarter-wave slopers
but this will need some negotiations  with the neighbors,  as the wires will
go over  two adjacent  land plots.  Kathmandu is  veeery densely  populated.
And, for those constantly asking: 60m band is not permitted in Nepal.
Equipment  from my  previous operation  is still stuck in  Kabul  and we are
trying hard to bring it  to Kathmandu.  As of very recently,  single-airline
commercial flights have finally resumed to Dubai, so there is a  little tiny
light  at the end of the tunnel".  QSL via LoTW,  Club Log's OQRS, or direct
only to S57DX.

QSL FG8OJ ---> Burt, FG8OJ has joined the M0OXO QSL Service from his home in
Sainte-Anne, Guadeloupe (NA-102), where he has been resident since 2012.  He
has been in the hobby since 1990 and is very active on VHF/UHF  using satel-
lite and Moon Bounce. New QSL cards are being printed, and the OQRS is open:
https://www.m0oxo.com/oqrs/.

QSL T6AA & T6A ---> Effective immediately,  Pedro, EA5GL has  picked up  the
direct and bureau  QSLing for  Robert Kasca's operations  from  Afghanistan.
Between  September 2019  and  July 2021,  Robert (S53R,  currently active as
9N7AA from Nepal) was active as T6AA and T6A,  and made an overall total  of
nearly  124,000 QSOs.  "I will still respond  to the  QSL requests  received
directly or via PayPal for the period up to December 2021", he says.

RAEM CONTEST ---> This year's  RAEM Contest  (https://raem.srr.ru/)  will be
held on  26 December, from 00.00 UTC  until 11.59 UTC, on 80, 40, 20, 15 and
10 metres CW. Organized by the Russian Amateur Radio Union (SRR), the annual
event memorializes  Ernst T. Krenkel (1903-1971), the legendary  Arctic  ex-
plorer and radioman  (callsign RAEM)  on various polar stations  and on  the
first drifting ice station North Pole-1.

SV2RSG/A ---> Monk Iakovos, SV2RSG/A was active from 30 November to 3 Decem-
ber, and has been QRV again since  14 December.  A pirate station  -  "whose
signal", according to the Hellenic Radio Amateur Team, "comes from a specif-
ic geographical area of Greece" - has been on the air too, causing much con-
fusion.  The genuine SV2RSG/A is now posting the log to  Club Log  every two
hours: check https://clublog.org/logsearch/SV2RSG/A  if you suspect you have
worked a pirate. QSL via Club Log's OQRS, or direct to SV1RP.

THE 2022 DX ULTRA-MARATHON ---> The True Blue DXers Club announces the  2022
DX Ultra-Marathon,  a year-long operating event  to be run  from  1  January
through 31 December 2022.  Intended to promote  everyday activity on  CW and
SSB, this initiative's aim is to get people on the air  and  contact as many
different stations  as possible,  on as many bands  as possible,  in as many
DXCC Entities  and  WAZ Zones as possible  over the duration of a full year.
Participation is open  to all amateurs:  see  https://www.tbdxc.net/marathon
for detailed information.

VP8/SQ1SGB ---> The  Falkland Islands Communications Regulator  has directed
Seba, VP8/SQ1SGB to cease his  amateur radio operation from  Halley Research
Station, Antarctica forthwith.  A formal complaint has been raised by Chris,
VP8WOS and Alan, VP8PJ, acting on Seba's behalf. The details can be found on
https://www.openfalklands.com/.
