Look for nine special stations to be active from these three DXCC entities between December 2020 and March 2021. Activity is to celebrate the 200th anniversary of "Greece's War of Independance" against Ottoman Turks. See:

4X Special Event

 

Israel special event

During the week of Chanukah celebrations, special Israeli radio amateur stations will be active on the air with a special callsigns ending in letters from the word "Chanukah", (4X1C, 4X2H, 4Z3A, 4X4N, 4X5U, 4X6K, 4Z7A, 4X8H and 4X0NER). "Ner" means candle in Hebrew. The number in the callsign indicates the number of the candles lit that day.

Activity begins on the evening of December 10th when the first candle will be lit on (1400 UTC). The special event stations will operate for 9 days in row and new special event stations will join the activity every day on Chanukah Holiday until the close of the event on December 19th (2159 UTC).

Special event stations will be activated as follows; on the evening of:
December 10th -- From the historical city of Hashmonaim when the 1st
candle of the Chanukah Holiday will be lit on; the event activity will start with the 4X1C crew.

December 11th -- From the city of Haifa when the 2nd candle will be
lit on; the activity will start with the 4X2H crew.
December 12th -- From the city of Tel Aviv when the 3rd candle will be
lit on; the activity will start with the 4Z3A crew.
December 13th -- From the city of Netanya when the 4th candle will be
lit on; the activity will start with the 4X4N crew.
December 14th -- From the city of Beer Sheva when the 5th candle will
be lit on; the activity will start with the 4X5U crew.
December 15th -- From the city of Kiryat Shmona when the 6th candle will
be lit on; the activity will start with the 4X6K crew.
December 16th -- From the city of Ashkelon when the 7th candle will be
lit on; the activity will start with the 4Z7A crew.
December 17th -- From the city of Jerusalem when the 8th and the last
candle will be lit on; the activity will start with
the 4X8H crew.

The crew of the station 4X0NER will be active every day during the 9
days of activity and will be used as Joker for the missing letters.
Important: All the new and previous day's event stations (letters)
will continue to be active on the air to the end of operation on the
19th of December (2159 UTC).

Activity will be on all radio amateur bands, WARC and the QO-100
Satellite using all modes. A special award will be available. The
eligibility for a special certificate "Chanukah-2020" is as specified:
* For Israeli amateurs: 1 QSO with all the 8 special event stations
(letters). Any band or mode. Contact with the special 4X0NER call-
sign is a replacement for a missing letter (only once).

* For European amateurs: 1 QSO with all 8 special event stations
(letters). Any band or mode. Contact with the special 4X0NER call-
sign is a replacement for a missing letter (can be used twice).
* For amateurs outside Europe: to contact only 4 of 8 special event
stations (letters). Any band or mode. Contact with the special 4X0NER
callsign is a replacement for a missing letter (can be used twice).

The special certificates will be available for download independently
from the Israeli Amateur Radio Club (IARC) Web site at:
https://www.iarc.org/iarc/
The certificates will be digital in PDF format and not numbered.

Owing to the ongoing and fluid nature  of the  COVID-19  situation globally,
announced  activities  might  be postponed  or  cancelled  at  any time  and
without notice.

4X     - The "Land of Craters"  programme  will see  four  special  stations
         operate  from the  Makhteshim  ("craters") in the  Negev desert  of
         Israel. The first activity will take place on  13-14 November  from
         the  Makhteshim Arif  (Arif Craters)  under  the  special  callsign
         4X0ARF.  It  will be  followed  (dates to be announced)  by  4X0GDL
         (Makhtesh Gadol,  the  Large Crater),  4X0KTN (Makhtesh Katan,  the
         Small Crater) and  4X0RMN (Makhtesh Ramon).  A certificate  will be
         available  for  working  three out  of four  special stations:  see
         https://www.iarc.org/craters/.  QSL for  all callsigns  via  4X6ZM,
         LoTW and eQSL.
7Q     - 7Q7RU was expected  to be QRV on  7-18 November [425DXN 1537].  The
         DXpedition team however was unable to catch their flight from Kenya
         to Malawi owing to some visa problems which are trying  to sort out
         at the  Malawian High Commission in Nairobi.  In the meantime, they
         might try and get a temporary 5Z4 operating permit.
HP     - HP3BSM and several other operators will be active as 3E1FP on  1-30
         November, while  the  country celebrates  the  Festas Patrias  that
         started with  the  177th anniversary  of  the establishment  of the
         Republic of Panama  (3 November 1903).  Look for activity  on 80-10
         metres SSB, CW, FT8 and FT4. QSL direct to HP3BSM.
LU     - Radio Club QRM Belgrano, LU4AAO will be active on the HF bands SSB,
         FT8 and CW on 7-15 November  to celebrate  Argentine Tradition Day.

ON     - Members of UBA Section KTK (ON6CK) will be active as OP0PEACE until
         30 November to commemorate  the end of World War I.  QSL via opera-
         tor's instructions and logsearch on Club Log.
OX     - Bo, OZ1DJJ  has been  active  again  as  OX3LX  from  Asiaat Island
         (NA-134) since  29 October,  and expects  to remain there  until 16
         November. He is QRV in his spare time,  typically "around lunchtime
         and after dinner"  (local time is UTC-2),  also at night and in the
         morning hours during the weekends.  QSL via Club Log's OQRS,  LoTW,
         or via OZ0J.
PY     - Sandro, PY1SAN and Marc, PY1CMT will be active as ZX6BA from  Prado
         (HH02), Bahia on  13-15 November,  and as  PR1S  from  Nova Almeida
         (GG99), Espirito Santo on 16-18 November.  They will operate CW and
         SSB on the  QO-100  geostationary  satellite,  with some FT8 and CW
         activity on the HF bands  running 5 watts.  QSL via  LoTW only  for
         both callsigns.
TZ     - Ulmar, DK1CE is expected to be back to Bamako, Mali in mid-November
         and be active as TZ1CE from the QTH of Jeff, TZ4AM for a month.  He
         plans to be QRV  "close to full time" on  160-10 metres CW, FT8 and
         SSB.  QSL via DK1CE (direct or bureau); he does not use LoTW.  [TNX

Z8     - Sigfrido, IW9FMD is a member of the United Nations Mission in South
         Sudan,  and  has been  QRV again  as  Z81S  since  early  November.
         Activity  is limited to  his spare time;  length of stay not known.

3Y0I: BOUVET --- > "We are still pushing with the missing budget ($24300) to
finalize last payment  for the vessel  to make  3Y0I happen",  the  Rebel DX
Group posted to Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/rebeldxgroup) on 3 Novem-
ber.  "So far  (as an international team)  we still  can't travel  to  South
Africa due the Covid situation.  Bouvet is not cancelled!  All our equipment
is ready there, waiting for us.  Time is running like crazy,  also Antarctic
summer will  not wait  for us  so long...  Please keep in mind  that we will
maybe need to reschedule this trip for the next season".

DIA  DO  RADIOAMADOR  BRASILEIRO --- > The  Brazilian Radio Amateur  Day  is
celebrated annually by LABRE on  5 November in memory of  Roberto Landell de
Moura (1861-1928), National Hero of Brazil and a pioneer in developing long-
distance audio transmissions. A certificate is issued for contacts made with
20 different Brazilian stations on any band or mode on 4-8 November (from 21

QSL VP6MW ---> W0VTT is the QSL manager for Meralda Warren,  VP6MW (Pitcairn
