IOTA News from OPDX

Island activities:
 
AS-206. (NEW IOTA) Shigeru, JI3CEY, will be active as JI3CEY/0 from Sado Island between July 20-22nd. Activity will be holiday
style on various HF bands using CW and SSB. QSL via his home callsign.
 
EU-068. Operators Bastien/F4EYQ and Fabien/F4GYM, members of the F6KOP Radio Club de Provins, will be active as F4EYQ/P and F4GYM/P
from Sein Island between July 26-29th. They plan to participate in the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 27-28th) with the callsign TM5S. This callsign was used 20 years ago by the F6KOP club. QSL via F5MFV.
 
EU-091. Operators Michele/IK7FPX, Gilberto/IK7LMX, Gianni/I7PHH,
Cesare/IK7XNF, Giancarlo/IK7QMJ, Ivo/9A3A and possibly others will be active as II7P from Pedagne Island during the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 27-28th) as a Multi-Op/Mixed-Mode/Assisted/24-HRs/Low-Power entry. QSL via IK7LMX, by the Bureau or direct.
 
EU-119. (Update) Operators Oleg/UA1PBA, Yuri/UA1OC, Alex/UA1OJL and
Alexei/RN1ON will be active as RI1OM from Morzhovets Island (RRA:RR-02-08, RLHA:RLE-031, ARLHS:ERU-051, WLOTA: L-1070, RDA:AR-21) between July 1-5th. On the way to/from Morzhovets Island, the team will be active as RK1O/mm. Activity will be on 40-10 meters using CW, SSB and FT8. QSL via RN1ON, direct, by the Bureau or ClubLog's OQRS.
 
EU-120. Members of the Addiscombe Amateur Radio Club will once again
be active as G4ALE/P from the Isle of Wight during the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 27-28th) as a Multi-1/DXpedition/Low-Power entry. Operators mentioned are Quin/G3WRR, Mike/G3VYI, Steve/G4SDM, Iain/G4SGX, Alun/G4WGE and Dave/G7RAU. They will be using wire antennas. QSL via G3VYI.
 
NA-090. Members of the Radioaficionados Yucatecos will be active as
XF3LL from the Celarain Lighthouse in Faro Celarain Punta Sunta, National Park Cozumel, on Cozumel Island (ILLW MX 0011, XEFF 0004), between August 17-18th, and during the International Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend. Activity will be on 40-10 meters using SSB, the Digital modes and Satellites. QSL via XE3N.
 
NA-128. Operators Mike/VE2OV and Joe/VE2CY will be active as VE2OV/P
and VE2CY/P, respectively, from "Isle-aux-Coudres" (Hazelnut Island) during the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 27-28th) as a Multi-Op entry. QSL via their home callsigns.
 
OC-142. Operators Andrew/VK4NM and Peter/VK4PR will once again be
active as VK4NM/p from Fraser Island (VKFF- 216) this time during the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 27-28th) as a Multi-1/ Low Power (Solar Power) entry. Activity will be on 80-10 meters. QSL via M0OXO.
 
SA-100. (Update) The current list of operators of CA1DBD, CA1FCS,
CE1DN, CE3WW, HA1AG, I2YDX, IT9YRE, K9AJ, XQ1CR and XQ1FM, will be active as 3G1DX from Pajaros Rocks for 3 days sometime around October 18-23rd (plan is October 18-20th). This will depend on the swells around the island. They plan to work hard during the day hours, but they are not sure during the evening hours due to the high tides. Activity will be mainly
SSB and CW, using two stations. QSL via XQ4CW.
