CE - Members of the Chilean Pacific DX Group will be active during
September as XR210CHI to commemorate the 210th anniversary of the
establishment of the First Government Junta (18 September 1810),
the earliest step in the Chilean struggle for independence from
Spain. QSL via Club Log's OQRS, LoTW, or via XQ7UP.
DL - Special callsign DK70DARC is active until 31 December to celebrate
the 70th anniversary of the Deutscher Amateur Radio Club, the Ger-
man IARU society. QSL via the bureau; direct cards should be sent
to DK5ON.
F - Tom, DL1ASA has bee active as F/DL1ASA/p from Ile de Re (EU-032)
since 31 August. He operates CW and SSB mainly on 40 and 20 metres.
On 12-16 September he will be active from Banc d'Arguin (EU-159).

F - For the 69th year the Association des Radioamateurs de la Sarthe
(F6KFI) will operate a special event station for the 24 Hours of
Le Mans. Look for TM24HC on 6-20 September, with activity on vari-
ous bands and modes (SSB, CW, RTTY, PSK, FT8). This year's race has
been postponed from June to 19-20 September owing to the COVID-19
pandemic, hence the "C" in the suffix. QSL via F6KFI.
F - Andre, F6IGY and others will be active as TM4IT from Tombelaine
Island (EU-156) on 12 September. They will operate QRP on 40, 30
and 20 metres SSB and CW. [TNX F8REF]
F - Marc, F6HQP will be vacationing in the Finistere Department on 14-
20 September. Weather permitting, he will try and be QRV as F6HQP/p
from a few coastal islands: Segal (not IOTA, DIFM AT046), Ilette
(not IOTA, DIFM AT121), Ledenez Vraz (EU-065, DIFM AT042), Melon
(not IOTA, DIFM AT004) and Molene (EU-065, DIFM AT002). Detailed

FJ - Franck FG4ST, Marco FS4WBS and Claude, FS5GL will be active as TO0Z
from St. Barthelemy Island (NA-146) on 14-17 September. QSL direct
to IZ1MHY and logsearch on Club Log.
G - Peter G4UIX, Ray M0XDL, Chris M0XFL and Stuart M0SGV will be active
as GB0LUN from Lundy Island (EU-120) on 26-28 September. They will
operate SSB and digital modes using "a variety of vertical and
dipole antennas". QSL via LoTW and eQSL, or direct to M0XDL.
I - Alessandro IU3EDK, Andrea IU1LCU, Cristian IN3EYI and Martin IN3IBW
will be active as IP1A from Palmaria Island (not IOTA, IIA L027) on
11-13 September. They will operate SSB, CW and digital modes. QSL

I - ID9OSC is the special callsign for the Oriental Sicily Contest
Team's 16-20 September activity from Panarea Island (EU-017)
[425DXN 1530]. Eight operators will be QRV with three stations on
80-10 metres SSB, CW, RTTY and FT8. QSL via Club Log's OQRS (pre-

OH0 - OH2GEK, OH2LAK and OH2BH will participate in this weekend's All
Asian DX SSB Contest as OH0B from the Aland Islands (EU-002). QSL

OY - Torsten, DL4APJ and Udo, DL2AQI will be active holiday style as
OY/DL4APJ and OY/DL2AQI from Streymoy, Faroe Islands (EU-018) on
15-23 September. They will operate CW, SSB and digital modes on 80-
10 metres. QSL via home calls (direct or bureau), LoTW and eQSL.

PA - Arie, PD0ARI is active again as PD538RNI until 30 September. His
love for radio started in the early seventies while listening to
Radio Veronica (which transmitted on 538 metres) and Radio Northsea
International (RNI). Both offshore stations had to close down on 31
August 1974, when the Dutch government passed its antipirate legis-
lation. QSL via home call, direct or bureau.
SV5 - Claudio, HB9OAU will be active as SV5/HB9OAU from Karpathos Island,
Dodecanese (EU-001) on 12-24 September. He will operate SSB and
RTTY on 80-10 metres. QSL via home call (direct or bureau), LoTW
and eQSL.
UA - Special callsign R13KHL is active until 6 September to mark the
start of the 13th season of the Kontinental Hockey League. QSL via

UR - Special event station EM90QMR will be active on 5-20 September to
celebrate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Melitopolsky
rayon (district) in the Zaporizka oblast of Ukraine. QSL via eQSL.

VE - Members of the London Amateur Radio Club (VE3LON) based in Ontario,
Canada will be active as VE3LON100 on 1-30 September to celebrate
the 100th anniversary of the club. QSL via operator's instructions.
VK - Special callsign VI75WW2 will be in operation from 1 September
until 11 November to commemorate the 75th annaversary of the end of
World War II. The QSL will be available as a downloadable PDF from
https://www.silvertrain.com.au/ under the Amateur Radio tab and
then Special Event Station Logs.
VQ9 - Bob, DU7ET expects to be flying to Diego Garcia (AF-006), Chagos
Islands in a week or so. He will be working there as radio officer
on a ship for 4-5 months, and "hopes to have opportunities to go
ashore" and be QRV as VQ9ET. Plans are to operate mainly CW with

W - Organized by the Citrus Belt ARC, the 21st annual Route 66 On The
Air special event celebrates the historic US Highway 66. Twenty-one
amateur radio stations using 1x1 callsigns (W6A-W6U) will operate
from cities along the "Mother Road" on 12-20 September. See

W - K5DX/50 is the callsign for members of the Texas DX Society to
celebrate its 50th anniversary from 14 September to 13 October.

OCEANIA DX CONTEST ---> The 75th edition of the Oceania DX Contest will take
place on 3-4 October (SSB) and 10-11 October (CW). Both events will start at

SAC ---> The 62nd Scandinavian Activity Contest will be held on 19-20
September (CW) and 10-11 October (SSB), from 12 UTC on Saturday to 11:59 UTC
on Sunday. Scandinavian stations (Aland Islands, Denmark, Faroe Islands,
Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Jan Mayen, Market Reef, Norway, Svalbard and
Bear Island, Sweden) will try to work as many non-Scandinavian stations as
possible and vice versa. Complete information of the SAC events can be found

YASME FOUNDATION SUPPORTING GRANTS ---> The Yasme Foundation has announced
that the following grants were made at its 26 August board meeting:
- a grant to DokuFunk (the Austria based Research and Documentation Center
for the History of Radio Communications and the Electronic Media), to con-
tinue hosting Lloyd and Iris Colvin DXpedition material, and to develop a
historical presentation from existing pictures, video and audio. Yasme
also supported the transfer of the HZ1AB QSL collection to DokuFunk.
- a grant to the Seychelles Amateur Radio Association (SARA), for financial
support on upcoming amateur exams.
The Yasme Foundation (http://www.yasme.org/) is a not-for-profit corporation
organized to support scientific and educational projects related to amateur
radio, including DXing and the introduction and promotion of amateur radio
