CQ DX Marathon

CQ Magazine's Annual DX Marathon

CQ magazine’s annual DX Marathon was created in 2005 by world famous DX-er Bob Locher, W9KNI.   Bob is the author of many DX books, plus the founder of Bencher amateur radio products.  The purpose of the DX Marathon is to provide the incentive to get on the air each year and work as many DX entities and CQ zones as possible.  Since its inception, the DX Marathon has awarded hundreds of plaques and thousands of certificates.  The CQ DX Marathon offers awards by continent, by country and even by USA and Canadian call areas.   There are separate categories for single band DXing and single mode DXing.  All amateur bands and modes are permitted.   The results of each year’s DX Marathon are shown in the June issue of CQ Magazine each year and on the DX Marathon website.   Full results, photos, rules and helpful hints on the DX Marathon can be found at www.dxmarathon.com.   In addition, there is a DX Marathon email list available for alerts, contest updates and general chatting about the Marathon on groups.io.   Come join the fun!

If you have any questions, please contact the DX Marathon manager by replying to this email.
