For Sale: Elecraft KX1 with extras
Very nice KX1 4-band portable transceiver with built-in ATU and K6XX zero
beat indicator. Custom tuning knob (original also included.). Has been
tested by Elecraft specialist Don Wilhelm W3FPR. Includes Elecraft paddle,
modified for a better feel (though can easily be returned to original).
Also includes two backs. One is the original back with battery holder.
The other is an original Elecraft back but instead of battery holder has a
switchable Hi-Per-Mite audio filter and allows all cables to extend from
the right side of the rig for easier handling (this back requires external
power source). Elecraft-recommended wire antenna with counterpoise also
included as well as construction and user manual. Also a Nifty

Elecraft K1 transceiver, really good condition, for 40m and 20m. I did not
build this one, but somebody did a good job on it! Everything appears to
work properly. No internal antenna tuner, and no backlight on the
readout. I did not receive a printed copy of the manual with this K1, but
it’s available to download in PDF. I can email you a copy of the manual,
along with a Quick Reference Guide (one page).
Also for sale is an LDG QRP Automatic Tuner. This tuner works really well
with the K1, simply push the Tune button. It’s about the same width and
depth as the K1, and makes a perfect pair, with the K1 sitting on top of
the tuner. I have the LDG manual for this tuner in PDF and can email it to
you. It does not have latching relays.

RX is very sensitive matches my my IC756 pro III easily
Dial is well calibrated.
Sidetone is too loud and raspy for comfort. Must ride the audio
gain during QSO overs.
