A7 - A multi-national team assembled by the Qatar Amateur Radio Society
(QARS) will be active as A70X from Al-Safliyah Island (AS-088) on
1-7 January. Twelve operators (A71AM, A71AV, A71BI, A71EM, A71GO,
A75GM, A75GT, E76AA, E78AA, EI5GM, EI9FBB and MM0NDX) will be QRV
on all bands SSB, CW and digital modes. QSL via M0OXO. A website is

F - Sea and weather permitting, Gil F4FET, Antoine F5RAB and others
will be active as TM1CEZ from Cezembre Island (EU-157) from around
11 UTC on 26 December until around 14 UTC on the 28th. They will
operate SSB, CW and RTTY on 80-10 metres with three or four

FS - FS/K9EL, FS/K9NU, FS/N9TK and FS/W9ILY will be active from St.
Martin (NA-105) on 1-11 December. They will operate holiday style
with planned activity during the ARRL 160 and 10 Meter contests.

FT_ant - Francois, F4HLT (https://f4hlt.wordpress.com/) will spend one year
at the Dumont d'Urville Station on Petrels Island (AN-017),
Antarctica. In his spare time he will be QRV as FT3YL; his licence
is valid from 1 December 2016 until 1 February 2018. QSL via F6KPQ.

ON - Joining the celebrations for the 30th anniversary of the European
DX Foundation will be special callsign ON30EUDXF from Belgium. Look

TL - The dates for the TL8TT DXpedition to the Central African Republic
[425DXN 1332] are 1-14 February 2017. A team of seven (I1HJT,
I2YSB, IK2CIO, IK2CKR, IK2DIA, IK2HKT and JA3USA) will have three
stations QRV on 160-10 metres CW and SSB, and on 20 metres RTTY.

TU - Bertrand DF3FS, Norbert DJ7JC, Heye DJ9RR and Emil DL8JJ will be
active as TU5MH from Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) from 22 January to
2 February. They will operate CW, SSB and RTTY on 80-10 metres with
three stations. QSL via DJ5BWD, direct or bureau, and LoTW;

VP5 - Dave, W5CW is once again active as VP5/W5CW from the Caicos Islands
(NA-002) until 13 December. He operates CW and SSB on 160-6 metres,
and will participate in the CQ WW DX CW, ARRL 160 Meter (2-4
December) and ARRL 10 Meter (10-11 December) contests as VP5CW.

CYPRUS QSL MATTERS ---> Baz, 5B4AHO has retired as QSL manager for the Pafos
Radio Club, after 10 years of stirling work. The new QSL manager is Norman,
5B4AIE. QSLs for the following calls should be sent via 5B4AIE: 5B4PRC,
C4EURO, C4EU, P3EU, P3R and 5B70VE.
QSLing 5B stations in general: a reminder that many Cyprus stations have a
QSL Manager who is not resident in Cyprus. It is therefore pointless to send
QSLs for these stations to the Cyprus QSL Bureau - the cards will almost
certainly not be delivered to their intended recipient. A full list of these
